For over 75 years, East LA Rising has been building this vision from the ground up-backing our youth with the mentorship, resources, and partnership they need to thrive and lead with passion.
Our mission guides how we serve today. Our vision points toward the world we're creating: one where all youth are supported, inspired, and equipped to lead lives driven by purpose-creating positive change in their communities and confidently shaping their own futures.
Building this future is generational work. It will outlast any single program cycle, any single leader, any single donor. But it is not vague. We can describe it, measure progress toward it, and adjust when the evidence tells us to. That clarity is what keeps our daily decisions accountable to something bigger than themselves.
This is the future we are putting our weight behind. Every program, every partnership, every youth we serve is a small step toward it. We are not the only ones pushing in this direction, and we should not be. The vision belongs to the field, and we are one steady, patient participant in pursuit of it.
